there is that "soft" again...(picasa?)
has a dreamy feel... as in a misty smoky pooja room or something... or perhaps an ancient room...

The bigger flute has 7holes? that is unusual... usually it is 6/8 [with my limited knowledge]

very nice magic. something is missing though...perhaps the story :)

[what is that cool black background that u always find? when i tried with a cloth it reflected and showed other colors.. it was not really "black"]

`srikanth` - thanks..totally flattered! Some of your photographs are truly awe-inspiring.

`sojo` - yes, picasa. The bigger flute is the one with the story, you'll have to wait till i find the right words to create a post..you know how 'blessed' i am when it comes to writing!!

The black BG is my coffee table.

The reflection of other colors (newton's rings??) are quite common while using black cloth, try
using a non reflective material like velvet or flock paper. you might have to adjust the lighting too while shooting with black BG.
Another issue is the lint or dust..those get highlighted in the image, quite a task to shoot a good image with black BG..

Its a relief to know that it IS NOT easy. Dust and lint were indeed the problem. Newton's rings too! thanks for that info.

from me: words. Stick to the facts. If u are thinking then u can definitely say it or write it. Then u can decorate them iteratively if u choose to. Usually, simpler is superior.

Gosh gal...truly breath taking...the idea behind it n the pic both...u know u give a lotta extra thght to each pic...it just aint a "object" there...it tells a story of its own...like the rose among the dry leaves n the flute...which only knows to stream out soulful music....everything from real(rose)...to which WAS real(dried leaves)...to which that needs some1 to make it alive (the flute) well all that just forms a beautiful union of something nice n serene waiting to happen...n i loved the lites 1 too....
